Kate Gosselin's tummy tuck came shortly after
she started the reality show Jon and Kate Plus 8. During the episodes
Kate would mention her post surgery stomach, which caught the ear
of viewer Lauren Glassman, wife of Dr. Lawrence Glassman, a plastic
surgeon. When the youngest Gosselin kids were two years old Dr.
Glassman offered Kate a free tummy tuck, which she accepted.
Gosselin called the surgery a "wonderful gift
to mothers" and happily agreed to have Dr. Glassman perform
the procedure.
Her stomach was wrinkly and saggy following the
pregnancy, but the tummy tuck did wonders.
Kate recently revealed a magazine worthy bikini
body in an interview with People magazine.
"This is not what my stomach looked like after
my tummy tuck. That only got rid of the skin. It didn't build muscle
or give me definition or burn off fat. I had to do that all on my
own."
